At The Old Fire Station Surgery, we strive for a world that is better for people. The World Health Organisation state that Climate change is the single biggest health threat facing humanity. This page looks at some of the ways we are tackling our own carbon footprint and improving people's health.
Cost of Living Crisis
We know things are pretty tough right now, and many people are having to choose between heating and eating. The following information isn't going to fix everything, but you may find it useful.
We provide foodbank vouchers at the surgery.

Green Impact for Health
As a surgery, we recognise the need to make bold changes in reducing our own carbon footprint, creating a sustainable, low-carbon health system that delivers the same high standard of care for our patients. We are achieving this through use of the Green Impact for Health toolkit and the development of a carbon reduction plan. We will ensure climate resilience is embedded in our long term aims to care for our patients both now and in the future.
